Personally I feel Martin Luther King was more profound. His method of reaching equality dealt with peace, not violence such as Malcom X's approach. In an era like that where racism was so overt, to "lay down and let God" was quite rare. He believed in turning the other cheek, beating the white man at his own game. For his "I have A Dream" speech to reach millions of people around America, I think he was the more profound one.
